JAPAN TRIP 22.03.08 - 29.03.08
KONICHIWA!
alright! the photos are finally up. i did not upload all of them though. but these are the more interesting ones. enjoy!
i took a night flight to kyushu and arrived at 8am in the morning at the fukuoka airport. japan is only 1 hour ahead of us so not much of jet lag. basically, i toured the entire kyushu. look at the map below for reference.
i went to alot of scenic places and historical places as well. i managed to catch the sakura! yup they are pretty. i do have photos of them below. of course, not to forget the shopping heaven which i'll definitely not miss out :D alright, less words and more pictures. elaboration along the way tgt with the pictures. and yes, their cars are very nice! most of them are those mini cars like suzuki swift. leroy's twin of suzuki sports is pretty common there. and most importantly, most of their cars are in my favourite colour. WHITE! ^^

this are cranes folded by the students in japan. every crane represent one wish and they wished for peace. very nice!

this clock stopped at 11.12 which indicates the time which the bomb landed in nagasaki.

yes you cannot miss out japan's toilet bowl. look at the buttons. high tech right? this is normal in their country~
this is also in nagasaki. the hand pointing up is to signify that this disaster is created by man and the other hand signify that all man are equal :D

this is a mall with the ferris wheel on top. similar to the one in taiwan
yup i went out to sea to look at dolphins. look carefully, can see its head! :D
the next few pictures are photos of the houses being covered with lava long ago. there is a volcano near to this museum.
and i took a ship. it's something like a star cruise but a bigger one of cos. it's meant to ship vehicles over to another state.

this is the palace of the soldiers in the past. the higher ranks stay at the top. outside the palace, they have lots of sakura!

this is the crater of the volcano. yup i went up. of cos it's a sleeping volcano but it kept emitting sulphur gas. smelly!!!
it's supposed to be yi huo kou. lol. i misread it as yi da kou. PENG!
nice road too. i cant get the one like initial d with the turning rounds. very hard to capture the entire path of it.
went to the temple to pray too. this is their temple.
used their piano while waiting for breakfast. they do have grand piano in their hotel.

and i got a sea view too! take a closer look. the blue part is not the sky, but the sea.

this smoke is natural. this city is weird. they have smoke popping out from the ground and the city looks like hell. so they called it "hai di yu", means ocean hell
i went to their zoo too. hehe.

went to robosquare. it's a place where there are robots. ok crap. it's obvious. very high tech stuff there. the robots can dance and do stunts. cool! totally an eye opener
